Alamo completes middle Europe as it opens its first Luxembourg branch
Alamo Rent A Car has taken its first steps into Luxembourg with the opening of a branch at Luxembourg Airport. With 10 branches already established in Belgium and the Netherlands, this completes National and Alamo's presence in the Benelux region. The decision to move into the Luxembourg market illustrates Alamo's continuing commitment to provide leisure car rental Europe-wide.
The new branch is a franchised partnership and is part of the Kroymans Group, which represents National and Alamo in Holland and Belgium. The new opening will allow travellers to benefit from Alamo's premium level of service and value when visiting Luxembourg.
Recognising the diversity of traveller to the region, Alamo has already invested in a fleet of over 50 vehicles, with models ranging from Ford Ka's, Audi A4's to Volkswagen Passats.
Sally Hinds, Marketing Director for Alamo comments, "We are thrilled to be opening our first branch at Luxembourg airport. The prominent positioning will provide the brand awareness of Alamo entering this new market, as well as capturing new business as travellers step off the plane."
"Over the years we have built a strong working relationship with Kroymans Group in Holland and Belgium. We are confident that their experience in car rental and their dedication to customer care will make this venture a success. We are already planning to open more locations in Luxembourg later in the year as we continue our European expansion."
