Alamo Rent a Car has been named Best Daily Rental Company in the prestigious Daily Telegraph Travel Awards 2004. The glittering awards ceremony was held on the 11th October at Waldorf Hilton, London where Alamo was presented with the Best Daily Rental Company Award. This highly coveted award is a reflection of Alamo's ongoing commitment to providing travellers with a stress-free, value-led rental experience worldwide.

Now in its seventh year, The Daily Telegraph Travel Awards are considered to be the most authoritative awards in the Travel Industry. The winners are decided by an annual reader poll, which is conducted and supervised by NOP. This year, questionnaires were sent to 25,000 Telegraph readers asking them for their opinions on the travel industry. The results provide a valuable measure of the opinions of travellers and holidaymakers in the UK.
